Are you going to QuiltCon this weekend? Yes? Good for you. I shall live vicariously through your social media updates. No? Me neither. Which means it’s the perfect opportunity to clean our sewing spaces! I’ll have a link-up on Monday where we can show off our newly cleaned/organized spaces and meanwhile, we can bond over our respective creative messes.
So, that’s my major work in progress this week: cleaning my sewing room. Still plenty of time to link up your “before” space in this post. And I’ll see you Monday to link your new, improved space!
Where is my cutting table?! There it is! See, definitely a work in progress.
I’m also finishing up my blocks for the 4×5 Bee.
And I now have 7 of these monochromatic English paper pieced rose stars and not one single idea what I will do with them. I’m open to suggestions … ?
What are you working on this week?

Your monochromatic blocks are wonderful. I am so inspired to make a monochromatic quilt now. It is going to be an amazing quilt when finished.
I love your monochromatic EPP – I think I would applique them to a bright red background! or lime green….
You might connect them and put them on your table.
Hi. Thanks for commenting on my blog – I tried to reply back but you were listed as a no-reply comment. At any rate, I’m happy to have found your site – I love the monochromatic blocks – so, so very pretty. As for cleaning up the cutting board – wow what a difference! Don’t you love it nice and neat?
I’d love to see those EPP stars laid out asymmetrically on a black, grey or white background. Still need to link up and start cleaning.
I think that you could put your favorite on a purse or bag by hand applique. It would make great gifts or apply it to some pillow forms with light grey backrounds to show your work off.
I like the idea of your monochromatic blocks with a really bright background/filler. And if that fails…I can send you my address to give them a good home. LOL! I am also making rose blocks but with an owl in the center of each and then bright colors for the rest of the pieces. I hope you’ll consider joining my monthly hexie linky party…the next is 2/17/13.
Funny I didn’t even see this post before Quilt Con but I did manage to clean my space. Now I will have to clean even more as I anxiously wait for my Quilt Con souvenir – a Janome 8900 (which still hasn’t posted to my credit card, so I am really freaking out)… as long as everything goes through that souvenir will make up for not being able to go this year. 2015, definitely. I will take pictures of my semi-clean area and link her up!
